Burton-mania.

Trip to the Tim Burton Exhibition was absolutley smashing and his illustrations are brilliant – dare I say, in my opinion, even better than his films. A huge arrangement of his private collections including illustrations, puppets, letters, paintings, clothes (including the Mad Hatter’s hat) and film props (Edward’s scissorhands, sigh). So after 2 and a half hours wandering around I left equipped with my new book, a postcard, a skeleton badge and a desire to put on some stripey socks, take out a sketchbook and watch Sleepy Hollow.

Untitled (Vincent) 1982

Ink and marker on paper. Private collection.
